During the 1970's and 80's, ADVENT's founders concluded that no one service organization can be all things to all people and maintain a state-of-the-art, expedient response capability. Consequently, the ADVENT Group, Inc. (ADVENT) was formed in 1985 in Nashville, Tennessee by a group of internationally recognized professionals to provide specialized high quality environmental consulting services to industry and the regulated community. Since our inception we have attempted to instill in new personnel an underlying goal of always seeking the highest possible quality in all ADVENT work products.

ADVENT characterizes itself as a highly technical, specialty or "niche" firm with a particular expertise in integrated industrial wastewater management and related areas. We are focused on this segment of the environmental market and can perform projects ranging from small sampling or study projects to very large engineering design projects with capital costs of up to $35 million. In addition, we often team with other competent firms, based on technical requirements and geographic considerations, to offer complete environmental services. With these tenets as our foundation, ADVENT has developed expertise over the years in a number of specialty environmental technical areas.
