Overview
WillowMEDIA gives you maximum control over your PC's multimedia, from CD to audio to video, and includes a free bonus telephone/answering machine component. It lets you use your PC as a feature-packed CD player, telephone, alarm clock, PC volume control, answering machine, audio recorder/player, Photo CD displayer, and more.

The Basics
WillowMEDIA looks and works like a home stereo system, with extra features packed in. It has several types of components:

  • Multimedia Players.  You can have as many of these as you want in your stack of stereo components. Each player can play a wide range of PC multimedia formats, and each player's controls and animations adjust to the source and type of multimedia being used. Players handle audio CDs, AVI video files, Photo CDs, wave files, MIDI files, RealAudio over the Internet, MPEG files, and more (see the Support FAQ for a list of supported multimedia types).

  • Multimedia Alarm Clock.  Lets you set alarms which play multimedia at times you specify. It can even announce the time in a human voice!

  • PC Volume Control.  Gives you complete control over your PC sound card's input and output volume levels. Automatically adjusts to work with any Windows 95 compatible audio hardware. Includes presets that, like car radio buttons, let you store and recall volume settings with the click of a button.

  • Special Free Bonus: Telephone / Answering Machine. If your PC has a standard voice-capable modem, WillowMEDIA lets you make and receive phone calls on your PC, even displaying Caller ID information if ou have that enabled on your phone line. The Answering Machine can take messages from callers, and lets you retrieve your messages remotely.
