• A very small number of users (less than 1%) seem to be experiencing an "Invalid License Key" error with the Trial version of WillowMEDIA. We are working on a fix for this. The licensed version does not have this problem.

1. ERROR MSGVerify that no other programs are running while you're attempting to install the product. This also means that virus protection programs should temporarily be disabled.
2. ERROR MSGMake sure that you're logging into Windows 95/98 with the same login name as the one you installed the program under.
3. Try installing the program from another hard disk partition on your machine (for example, the D:\ drive instead of the C:\ drive).

If none of the above solve your problem, please fill out our online bug report form providing us with as many details as possible about your PC's configuration as well as any details you think may be important.

• If you log into Windows95 or Windows98 under a different name than the one the WillowMEDIA Trial was installed in, WillowMEDIA will return an "Invalid License Key" error. To avoid the error, simply log into Windows with the same name you were logged in with when you installed WillowMEDIA. The licensed version does not have this problem.

• ERROR MSGA few people have indicated to us that the installer for the trial version launches the setup program for something completely unrelated to WillowMEDIA (Windows 95 Service Pack, Outlook Express, etc.) We believe this to be a problem with temp files related to one of the installation scripting tools we (and other publishers) use. A workaround is to try installing the program from another hard disk partition on your machine (for example, the D:\ drive instead of the C:\ drive).

• Some people have indicated that the FREE bonus telephony component's Answering Machine cuts off messages after about 8-10 seconds. This is due to some modems' high sensitivity to hang-up detection and is probably not possible to work around until we come up with a fix for it (which is difficult due to the large number of voice modems on the market right now). Please keep in mind that WillowMEDIA is mainly a multimedia application and the telephony component that comes with it is a FREE, yet distinctive, *add-on* to the product - if the telephony component doesn't fully work on your system, it's most likely due to an incompatibility or modem quirk than a real issue with WillowMEDIA.
